I went to the Summer fest 2008 last night and it was so FUN!!! Although it got boring at the end... I spent $16 coz the food was so expensive!!! Dinner: Yakinori($5) + Icecream ($2) + Super bitter Green Tea in bottle ($2) + Sparkling Lemonade in a glass bottle with a glass marble in it ($2). Huff... I bought (for $1 each) a star-shaped light (red, blue and yellow blinking ones), a retractable dagger for my sis (it looks as though i stabbed the dagger into my brace...).
Things I regretted not being able to do: Buy a geta ($29!!! I'll be broke!!!), renting a Yugata (too long a queue + rental was over at 4:30 and we arrived at 5:30), not bringing enough $$$ to get a sushi-shaped thumb-drive (slightly bigger than a thumb)(it cost $50!!!!!!!!). Haizzz....
I enjoyed the time there although it was raining, and Alethea was frantically fanning herself with the free complimentary fans. I was sorta disappointed that there was no cultural performance WORTH SEEING, like maybe a yugata fashion show or a dance (there was one at the end but we missed it), and there was this Taiko performance, but (no offence) drums is not music to me!!

Howdy people!!! I have abandoned this blog for a month but I have good reasons!!! First there was National Day (I was on the commitee) which as fun but it turned out making me sad and all... Arts Fest--- A WHOLE WEEK OF NO LESSONS JUST TO PREPARE AND REHEARSE!!! Man, you should'a seen it!! The opening was nice, Tea Stop rox!!! (chinese costumez)and the closing ceremony was totally awesome!!! We had party poppers on each floor, so there was excitement and all, and big BANGS from the teachers who held bigger poppers the size of my whole arm (and all of you know how long my arm is...)!! But that was last week. This week was exams galore! Icepath was having arts-fest-lag due to having being released at 9:30p.m. every night and reaching home at almost 11p.m. every night!! Snorezzz.... Anyways, there was no school on monday but I had to still go for jap for the CA 5, which drained up almost all that's left of my energy... TIRED!!!
The rest of the people got to go to watch Red Cliff yesterday. Only the Year 2 Music students WERE NOT ALLOWED TO WATCH!!! We had a music workshop which turned out to be fun, but what could beat chilling out on a movie (even if it were chinese and I would have people asking me what something means every sec...)? So, the music ppl had to 1)watch in a cinema ourselves (despite that only 2 cinemas were showing it now) or 2)get the PG vcd or dvd and watch ourselves. My dear friend got the NC16 VERSION AND so we had to forward all the... *ahem* scenes. sigh... she is really cute...
